Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SCL Podcast website at https://sclpodcast.com, related online services, and the SCL Podcast Android application (together, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by AOTM Software Development (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as SCL Podcast. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
AOTM Software Development

Email: info@sclpodcast.com
Telephone: 0203 632 1003
2. The Service
SCL Podcast provides podcast discovery, episode information, and authenticated audio listening, together with administrative tools for authorised publishers. Features may change as we improve the Service. Some content or features may require an account or an internet connection.
The Android app loads the live website in a native shell. Website updates may appear in the app without a new Play Store release; native changes still require an app update.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13).
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at info@sclpodcast.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create risk to the Service or other users.
4. Licence to use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial listening and lawful use, in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- Copy, redistribute, publicly perform, or commercially exploit episode audio or materials except as we expressly allow
- Bypass technical controls, scrape at abusive rates, or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the Service
- Harass others, post unlawful content, or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
5. Content and intellectual property
Episodes, branding, software, text, graphics, and other materials on the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you submit comments or other user content (where enabled), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service. You confirm you have the rights to submit it and that it is lawful.
Administrators who upload episodes confirm they have all rights needed to publish the audio, artwork, and documents, and that the content does not infringe third-party rights.
6. Listening access
Browsing titles and covers may be available without signing in. Playback of episode audio may require a signed-in account. Availability can vary by region, device, or account status. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance or network reasons.
7. Android app and third-party stores
If you download the app from Google Play or another store, that store’s terms also apply between you and the store. The store is not responsible for the Service and is not a party to these Terms (except as required by the store’s rules).
Sideloaded APK installs are at your own risk; always prefer official Play Store builds when available.
8. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Episode opinions are those of the speakers and do not necessarily represent AOTM Software Development.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or stop providing all or part of the Service, or end these Terms with you, if you breach them, if we must do so for legal or security reasons, or if we discontinue the Service.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts where required by mandatory consumer law.
